vOTC
The Virtual Officer Training Course or vOTC is an introduction course to the Virtual RNZAF in what we do and how we operate as well as all our policies
Advanced Training
Once completing v14 SQN you will under go advanced training either in the KA350ii or the A109 depending on your path as a pilot in the vRNZAF.

v14 SQN
Once completing your vOTC you will start training at the Virtual 14 Squadron flying the T6c Texan ii aircraft learning basic flying skills and basic navigation skills
Squadron Posting
After completing Advanced Training phase you will move onto training on your posted aircraft where you will learn to fly and then conduct missions with.

Graduation!
Once completing v14 SQN you will graduate and get your "wings" and will be able to start more advanced training either on the A109 helicopter or the B350ii King Air for multi engine
Virtual RNZAF vAir Management Squadron
If you have you VATSIM controller rating (S2 up) you can apply to do the vRNZAF controller course to learn military phraseology, learn techniques and up your knowledge as a controller. You must have completed vOTC at a minimum before applying to do the vAMS course.

Important information
Upon joining the Virtual RNZAF, you are required to fly one hour per month and to complete our initial pilot training course. From there, you will be placed into a squadron of your choice, where you will be trained on the airframe and learn about its operations.
As a potential member of the Virtual Royal New Zealand Air Force you must be prepared to be responsible for the procuring of the payware aircraft we use for the different squadrons. The Virtual Royal New Zealand Air Force is not responsible for any harm that third party software may cause to systems and support of third party software should be sought from the manufactures.
All members registering to fly with us must have a valid and active VATSIM membership. If you do not have a VATSIM membership then please go proceed over to www.vatsim.net and register there. Any application that does not provide a valid VATSIM CID will be rejected.
Being a member of the Virtual Royal New Zealand Air Force, you are required to fly 1 hour every 30 days and shall follow the VATSIM CoC (Code Of Conduct) and the Virtual Royal New Zealand Airforce standing orders.
Members are NOT permitted to share vRNZAF documents, software and other files with the general public. Any person found to be doing this will be removed from the Virtual RNZAF.
