About the vRNZAF
On April 12 2020 the Virtual Royal New Zealand Air Force was established for all New Zealand flight simulation enthusiasts interested in military aviation. The Virtual RNZAF now has up to 6 operational squadrons running with over 10 flights per day! The group has had its ups and downs however with every great thing there are moments like that. The Virtual RNZAF has 49 operational aircraft, from the small but powerful Beechcraft Texan T-6cii to the mighty Lockheed C130 Hercules.
What do we do? and our sick photos
We conduct military formation on the VATSIM network and conduct formation exercises the normal VATSIM member would never be able to do.
We conduct SAR operations and maritime peacekeeping operations on the VATSIM network.
We do warbird formations on the VATSIM network and provide realistic flying in these aircraft.
We conduct ANZAC day flypasts every year with a variety of aircraft.
We host a realistic pilot training program based off the real RNZAF initial pilot training program to provide our members the most realistic flights possible.
